as I put up a few days ago, when the player can drift into right in front of the net, and with his stick cocked, take time to count how many holes he has to shoot at before he buries it unbothered, it won’t matter who is in net for Detroit.then you throw in another uncontested, uncovered wrap around and you won’t win many games like that (he owed Legace a reach around while he was nailing him on the open wrap around).

whatever happened to the team emphasizing team positional defense i saw on Jimmy Howard’s first start? they played once, haven’t seen them since.
